Stylophone Beatbox
Move over Rolf Harris, the stylophone has finally entered the beat box era. No longer the domain of tank top clad kids playing "Two Little Boys" a la Rolf, the Stylophone Beatbox is actually a truly impressive, entertaining piece of kit for anyone into creating music. Think of it as a portable beatbox with added irony.

The circular keyboard is like a mini steel drum with electro-attitude. It boasts three different sound modes: Drum Kit, Beatbox and Bass Stylophone and has 13 metal sound pads that play a different percussion sound. Each of these sounds has been created by human beatboxer MC Zani (the winner of the 2008 Vauxhall UK Beatbox championships).

You can mix your sounds, record them and play them over your beat. It’s got a headphone socket which doubles up as a line out to speakers. Brilliant for keeping your sounds top secret until you've truly perfected them (a much needed improvement on the original too, as it also saves the sanity of your nearest and dearest!).

This pimped up version of the legendary original model would be brilliant for an impromptu rapping session with your homies or for livening up a dull party.

The Stylophone Beatbox is available online. Price £19.99 Click here to see more details
